Khuntuni: Two women were hurt in a clash between two families in Bamanpur village under Gurudijhatia police limits here Saturday. The injured were identified as Sita Roul and her daughter Sukanti Roul.
According to sources, the families’ past enmity was the reason behind the fight. The quarrel between the two families took an ugly turn and resulted in a full-blown scuffle Saturday.
The two injured will be sent to hospital Monday, said Investigating Officer Sapnesh Kumar Pattnayak. Sita Roul lodged a complaint with Gurudijhatia police based on which the police arrested Biju Roul and Raju Roul. Both the accused were sent to court Sunday.
