Interrogation is underway, Panda added.

Similarly, a youth was found dead under mysterious circumstances at Badaliguda village under Padua police limits in Koraput district. The deceased has been identified as Laba Tangul (27) of the village.

According to sources Laba who worked as a labourer in Andhra Pradesh had returned home a few days ago. Saturday night, two persons called Laba outside the house and took him with them.

But when Laba did not return home Sunday morning, his relatives and locals launched a frantic search in the nearby areas of the village.

During the search, Laba’s body was found lying under a tree in the village. On being informed, police reached the spot and seized the body for post-mortem. Later, the relatives lodged a complaint with the police alleging murder. Based on the complaint, police have launched a probe into the matter.
