Bhubaneswar, Dec 14: Orissa pace spearhead Ankit Yadav (7/94) bowled with fire to restrict Uttar Pradesh to 304 all out on the first day of the four-day match in the U-23 Col CK Nayudy Trophy cricket tournament at the Vikash Cricket Ground in Bargarh, Monday.
Opting to bat first, UP managed to cross the 300-run mark due to a sixth wicket partnership of 125 runs between Zahid Ali (101, 102b, 14×4, 1×6) and Himanshu Asnora (73, 100b, 12×4). In reply Orissa were 46 for one with Rishikesh Das (19 batting) and night- watchman Ankit (one batting) at the crease.
