Political analysts have opined that there will be a stiff fight between the three major political parties for this prestigious Assembly seat. Similarly, many interesting facts are coming to the limelight after the filing of nominations. It is learnt that Sudhir Kumar Samal is ahead of the other contenders in possessing assets and Krushnachandra Patra is ahead of others in terms of educational qualifications.

Apart from these, he also possesses a four-wheeler worth Rs 1,01,20,000.

Sudhir had appeared for the matriculation examination from Khadagaprasad High School in Odapada block, but did not pass the examination, as revealed in the affidavit sworn by him.
