Jharsuguda: A doctor of Jharsuguda district headquarters hospital (DHH) had to face the wrath of a patient’s relatives after the former died while undergoing treatment due to alleged medical negligence here Monday.
According to sources, a critically injured person was admitted to Jharsuguda DHH today. However, the person succumbed while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
Irate over this, family members of the deceased created ruckus inside the hospital. Later, they thrashed the doctor levelling allegation of medical negligence.
On being informed, police rushed to the spot and detained three persons. Reportedly, police forces have been deployed at the hospital to maintain law and order.
