Boudh: A young man was found dead at Badabagabar village in this district in the early hours of Monday.
The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Rajesh Jena of the same village.
According to a source, some locals spotted his body with his face smashed early in the morning and alerted other villagers and his family members.
Prima facie, this appears to be a murder. While exact reason behind the attack is yet to be ascertained, locals suspect it could have been because of a love affair.
The source added that some young men from the same village could have killed Rajesh.
Boudh police reached the spot on being informed and is conducting a probe into the incident.
