Bhubaneswar, May 24: A tough and lengthy physics paper marked the day for several students who appeared for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2015 Sunday in the city.
“The physics paper was a bit difficult and lengthy. The chemistry and mathematics papers were comparatively simpler. I am confident that I will crack the advanced examination,” said Baijanta Rath, a candidate who took the test at the Basic Science College here.
A whopping 3,400-odd candidates appeared for the entrance examination in Bhubaneswar and Rourkela Sunday. The examination was held in two sittings and adequate manpower was deployed to ensure smooth conduct of the exam.
There were no reports of students being debarred from the examination.
Those who qualify the JEE Advanced will be eligible for admission into the 1,500-odd seats offered by the 16 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the Indian School of Mines (ISM) in Dhanbad.
