Hindi film superstar Deepika Padukone is in London right now with her actor-husband Ranveer Singh.
The star couple is busy working on the upcoming movie ‘83’.
The highly anticipated film is based on the Indian cricket team’s historic ICC World Cup triumph in England in the year 1983. Ranveer will essay the role of the legendary Indian cricketer Kapil Dev who captained that World cup winning side while Deepika will be seen playing Kapil’s wife Romi Dev.
Fans of the couple are sitting on the edge of their seats to watch the film. One particular story regarding ‘83’ has however surprised many.
In a recent interview to a magazine, Deepika revealed that she did not inform Ranveer that she was a part of the film. Deepika said that Ranveer was a professional actor and that he needed to know that she was in the movie from the director first.
‘83’ will be directed by Kabir Khan and also features Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Amrita Puri, Ammy Virk, Jiiva, Pankaj Tripathi, Harrdy Sandhu Jatin Sarna, Chirag Patil and Sahil Khattar.
It is all set to hit the theatres April 10, 2020.
