Kakatpur: Water Resources (WR) Minister Raghunandan Das, Thursday, took stock of the situation at Devi River’s south embankment among other infrastructure.
Local MLA and Electronics & Information Technology (E&IT) Minister Tusharkanti Behera and Astaranga block chairperson Swadhin Kumar Nayak welcomed the WR Minister at the ‘dak bungalow’ and escorted him to the Mangala Temple.
After paying obeisance to the deity, Das, accompanied by the E&IT Minister and Nayak, inspected the condition of Devi River’s south and other sensitive embankments of the river. Later in the day, the minister also took stock of the situation of Luna Bridge apart from other related infrastructure.
