Cuttack: The district administration Tuesday launched ‘Mission Zero F’ to reduce the percentage of failed students in the annual High School Certificate (HSC) examinations conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha.
On the occasion, dignitaries including Law minister Pratap Jena, School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash, Civil Supplies minister Ranendra Pratap Swain, MPs Bhartruhari Mahtab and Rajashree Mallick and Mo School programme chairperson Susmita Bagchi launched a website www.missionzerofcuttack.in. The website will provide information to students to improve their education.
The dignitaries also unveiled a poster for the Mission Zero F programme on the occasion.
“Our aim is to reduce the percentage of failed students in HSC examination. The website will provide various information to students for better performance in the exam,” said Collector Bhabani Shankar Chayani.
S&ME minister said the state government is trying to fill the vacant teacher posts in schools. The Law minister put emphasis on regular interaction between teachers and parents to improve the standard of education in schools.
