Mumbai: King Khan i.e. Shah Rukh Khan’s wife Gauri Khan celebrates her birthday October 8. Gauri normally stays behind the curtains, but has produced many Hindi films. Shah Rukh and Gauri make a beautiful couple in the Industry. They are together for 27 years and you will be surprised to know that this couple had married each other for three times.
Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s love Story is similar to a film plot. Both of them had worked hard and the result is they are together now. Gauri is an interior designer by profession.
They met in 1984 during a common friend’s party when Shah Rukh was 18 years old. Shah Rukh noticed Gauri dancing with another boy and started liking her. Gauri was shy to dance, Shah Rukh gathering his courage asked Gauri for dance. But Gauri did not show much interest and said that she was waiting for her boyfriend.
Shah Rukh’s dreams shattered on hearing this. But in real life, Gauri had no boyfriend and Gauri’s brother was with him so she lied, Shahrukh said in an interview. When Shah Rukh came to know about this, he told her, ‘Think that I am also your brother.’ Since then this beautiful relationship started. Gauri also liked Shah Rukh’s style and confidence. Shah Rukh was very positive for Gauri and did not like Gauri to keep her hair open or talk to a boy in private. Seeing all this, Gauri started to feel that she should take a break from this relation.
Once she went out of station with friends without telling Shah Rukh. Then Shah Rukh realised that he could not live without Gauri. Shah Rukh was very close to his mother, so he told this thing to her. Shah Rukh’s mother gave him 10,000 rupees and asked him to find her. Shah Rukh along with some of his friends launched a hunt to find Gauri all over the city. Later Shah Rukh found Gauri on a beach after searching for a long time. They got lost in each other’s eyes and cried a lot. Then both of them decided to get married but the real drama was to begin now.
Biggest villain between the two’s marriage was religion, Shah Rukh was a Muslim and a Gauri was from a Hindu Brahmin family. Gauri’s father was a pure vegetarian. Apart from this, Shah Rukh was a struggler in Hindi film industry. The Zero actor and Gauri were ready to convert their love into marriage, but their families had strong objections due to their religious difference.
Later, Shah Rukh finally managed to convince them and then August 26, 1991, Shah Rukh and Gauri got married in a court. Later both of them also married in Muslim style in which Gauri was named as Ayesha. After this, both got married October 25, 1991 according to Hindu customs.
Shah Rukh and Gauri welcomed their first child, Aryan, in 1997. Their daughter, Suhana, was born in 2000. The youngest Khan, AbRam, was born in 2013, via surrogacy.
