Bhubaneswar: The results of annual Plus II examinations conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) in the state will be published by the first week of June, School & Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash said Wednesday. The exam will begin March 3.
In a written reply to a question by BJD member from Salipur, Dash said that measures are underway this year to publish results of annual Plus II examination for Science stream by the end of May, while that of Arts, Commerce and Vocational streams will be out by the first week of June.
The minister has informed that action will be taken against teachers, who do not cooperate in the evaluation of Plus II answer sheets. He added that evaluation of answer sheets will begin from first week of April.
The CHSE has already asked the authorities of Plus II colleges to complete the installation of CCTVs at exam centres by February 25.
The colleges will not be allowed to conduct the examinations at their respective centres if they fail to abide by this order.
