Mumbai: Mumbai Police has been interogatting several people, inside and outside the industry, in connection  with Hindi film actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s much debated suicide.

Sushant’s family, friends, producers and directors have been questioned in the last few days. Now the police have recorded the statements of three psychiatrists in this case.

The Bandra Police, investigating the alleged suicide of Sushant Singh Rajput, said that the statements of these psychiatrists were recorded for the last three-four days.

All these psychiatrists were in touch with Sushant. Sushant was seeking advice from these psychiatrists. Police said that Sushant, who was suffering from depression, was undergoing treatment since November 2019.

In her latest tweet, Seema Samridhi who was the lawyer in the Nirbhaya case, has questioned the police. She asked why the police declared it as a suicide when there were signs of an alleged murder. (On June 14, a doubt surfaced that it is not suicide. Looking at the mortal remains of Sushant Singh Rajput, it seemed like an alleged murder. The mark on his neck did not seem to be the mark of hanging from anywhere; No, suicide note, then why did they call it a suicide without investigation?).”

According to a report, Saturday, Police also questioned filmmaker Aditya Chopra for four hours in relation with Sushant Singh Rajput death case.

Sources revealed that Aditya’s statement is contrary to that of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Bhansali had told the police that Sushant was to be cast for Bajirao Mastani film, but at that time SSR had a contract signed with Yash Raj Films. However, Chopra revealed to the police that Bhansali had not spoken to YRF about casting Sushant in Bajirao Mastani.
