Hindi cinema actor John Abraham turns 48 years old today.
The handsome hunk of Hindi film industry has had his fair share of ups and downs over the years. From what looked like a very promising career in the industry to disappearing from the scene altogether, John has experienced all the hardships of being an actor.
Back in 2016, John was embroiled in a media storm for allegedly slapping one of his fans.
Known for his extremely calm and composed demeanour, John allegedly slapped a fan after a trailer launch event for his 2016 film ‘Force 2’. Social media and digital news platforms were flooded with reports of John slapping a fan who approached him for a selfie.
However, John’s spokesperson, briefing media persons clarified that the incident was blown out of proportion.
“The episode has been blown out of proportion. John would never hurt a fan intentionally. The fan even met John at his residence to apologise to him for his irresponsible behaviour,” the spokesperson had said then.
On the professional front, the ‘Jism’ and ‘Dhoom’ star will next be seen in ‘Mumbai Saga’. The Sanjay Gupta directorial is an action thriller with an ensemble cast featuring John, Emraan Hashmi, Kajal Aggarwal and Suneil Shetty among other stars. The film is slated to release in February, 2021.
