Mumbai: Police are trying to ascertain the identity of the person, who left a gelatin-filled SUV close to Mukesh Ambani’s residence here. Other than the explosives, a letter was also found inside the car. Police did not disclose the content of the letter due to investigation reasons. However, sources said that the letter said ‘the incident is just a trailer of the main thing’ that will happen. Security has been biffed up at the residence of Mukesh Ambani which is known as ‘Antilia’.
Police said the owner of the car has been traced. The car was stolen recently and the owner had lodged an FIR in this regard. Police said a man in a mask and a hoodie is seen parking the car, but he has not been identified yet. Police also said a few number plates have also been found in the Scorpio that was parked on Carmichael Road in south Mumbai.

Twenty gelatin sticks – material used in explosives — were found in the car by the bomb disposal squad, the police said yesterday. The number plate is fake and the car was stolen from another part of the city, Vikhroli, the police informed. The police are gathering CCTV footage from various parts of the city to track the route of the car. The gelatin was not military grade but of the commercial kind. These type of gelatin sticks are usually used in construction, digging or mining, police said.
