Ahmedabad: A video showing Porbandar MP Vitthal Radadiya (BJP) kicking an old man at a religious function has gone viral on social media. Radadiya, however, denied kicking the person. Talking to reporters Saturday night, he said the man was ‘‘trying to spread superstition’’ and that he only asked him to vacate the place. The video showed Radadiya, in his signature white shirt and trousers, approaching an elderly man sitting in a tent at the function. Radadiya was seen kicking the elderly person who prayed to be spared. The video showed Radadiya picking up the man’s belongings and asking him to leave the spot.
