Chhatrapur: Chief Minister’s Twitter account has caught the fancy of Twitterattis and has come in handy for people to register their complaints over various issues.
Recently reports were sought from Berhampur Development Authority (BDA) and Berhampur Municipal Corporation (BMC) over development on Gopalpur sea beach.
A man in his posting sought to know that despite an extended sea beach why no action plan has been prepared for development of Gopalpur sea beach.
The state housing and urban development department was on its toes after the Chief Minister’s Office received the posting.
Deputy secretary Surath Chandra Jena wrote a letter (no 8778) to the BDA secretary asking him to prepare a detailed project report and action plan over the development in the sea beach which reached the latter’s office April 8. The copies of Jena’s letter were also available with the BMC commissioner.
Earlier, a man from the Chief Minister’s constituency Hinjilicut posted his complaint in his Twitter account informing the CM about his exclusion from the ration card list for no stated reasons. The Chief Minister’s Office issued a direction in this regard following which a probe was conducted and the man handed over a ration card.
Similarly, a man from the district, enquiring about the current status of the construction of Berhampur Ring Road, made a posting in the CM’s Twitter account. The Chief Minister’s Office immediately swung into action and sought a report from the BDA secretary and the BMC commissioner. PNN
