Bhubaneswar: An album actress Monday brought allegations against a zonal deputy commissioner of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC). The victim, a resident of SreeRam Nagar in Lingaraj area, said in her complaint that the civic body official, Jogeswar Nayak, forcefully entered her house Monday morning and sexually harassed her using foul language. The actress also accused Nayak of making false claims before the PCR staff. The deputy commissioner told the PCR staff that the actress had taken Rs 4 lakh from him on the pretext to invest in her business. The actress had a salon at Bapuji Nagar. However, the actress asserted that Nayak had given her Rs 2.50 lakh to produce an album song in which his wife was the producer. Nayak was also accused of blackmailing the alleged victim and asking her to share bed. On the other hand, Nayak filed a counter-complaint. Lingaraj police started investigation into the matter after registering two cases (27/23 and 28/23) in this regard.
