Bhubaneswar: The syllabus in subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Biology has been ‘rationalised’ in accordance with CBSE and shall be applicable from the current academic session of 2023-24, a notification issued by CHSE (Council of Higher Secondary Education) informed.
Regular students need to follow the rationalised syllabus to appear in the AHSC (Annual Higher Secondary Examination) 2024. Students can find the rationalised syllabus on the official website of CHSE: www.chseodisha.nic.in.
All other subjects of Science (except Physics, Chemistry and Biology), Arts, Commerce and Vocational streams shall remain unchanged for AHSC-2024, the notification added.
In Mathematics, the rationalised syllabus shall be applicable for the students of Class-XI getting admission in 2023-24 session.

However, the Class-XIl students of the ongoing session who will appear for Mathematics in AHSC-2024 will follow the old syllabus, CHSE informed.
