Bhubaneswar, Jan 15: Students and youngsters from the city Saturday were motivated by many reputed individuals from all walks of life including administrators at the Orissa Youth Conclave-2015 organised by the Ever Green Forum as an initiative to guide the younger generation towards a better path.
The event which was attended by commerce and transport minister Ramesh Chandra Manjhi, Mayor Ananta Narayan Jena, and Padma Vibhusan recipient Raghunath Mohapatra among others witnessed the converge of around 250 youngsters.
“I want the youths to dream for a better future. Follow the right path to attain success in your life. Dedicate yourself to your studies but after you’re successful, focus on the good things in your life and never forget to give back to society,” Majhi said.
Prakash Kumar Jena, president of the forum, said, “The main aim of this conclave is to felicitate youths who have contributed to their society. In the days to come, we plan to strengthen the conclave and make it bigger. We urge youngsters to engage themselves in the process of nation-building.”
Many youngsters were awarded at the event to mark their contributions to society. A souvenir was also released and a special discussion on the importance of youth in nation-building was organised.
