Chhatrapur: Amidst the ongoing outcry over shortage and black-marketing of fertilisers, Ganjam Collector V Keerthi Vasan assessed the availability and supply of fertilisers in the district Tuesday.
At a review meeting here, the Collector ordered all the private retailers not to deviate from the government-approved pricing.
In addition to this, if any PACS has an excess amount of stocks available at their disposal, they may tag and supply other PACS for the convenience of farmers, he said. Vasan informed that more amounts of fertilisers may be procured by the government, if need arises.
