Bhubaneswar: A biker died in an accident involving an ‘Ama Bus’ on the Satsang Vihar–Vani Vihar road Sunday, triggering protests by locals who blocked the highway and stranded at least eight buses.
The victim died at the scene, and his identity remains unknown.
The bus driver and conductor reportedly fled the scene.
Outraged residents blocked the road, raising slogans against Ama buses, which they blamed for repeated accidents.
Saheed Nagar police reached the spot and began an investigation.
