Cuttack: The Orissa High Court (OHC) expressed its dissatisfaction during a hearing Thursday afternoon over failure of the state Crime Branch in submitting detailed investigation reports. The court had earlier sought reports from the investigating agency in connection with the much-debated and mysterious death of social activist Aditya Dash.

The next date of hearing was scheduled for January 25.
According to a source, the OHC directed the Crime Branch to submit exact photocopies of the post-mortem report as well as the recorded statements of three witnesses in the case by the next date of hearing.
Notably, Bidyashree Dash the wife of late social activist Aditya had allegedly attempted to die by suicide out of frustration December 16 last year, by consuming excessive doses of sleeping pills.
Aditya’s mutilated body was recovered by GRP police from a railway track near Lingaraj Temple Road railway station in Bhubaneswar July 7, last year. Later, the GRP police had also found a suicide note from his house during investigation.
