Sundargarh: Anita (not her real name), an AIDS patient in Sadar block here, has got a fresh lease of life after she won over the dreaded disease.
Like every other girl of her age she also dreamt of a beautiful life and settle down with a family after she married a driver. They were leading a happy married life till both were detected HIV-positive. In 2007, her husband died leaving her alone.
However, the misfortune made Anita much stronger. She summoned courage and consulted doctors to find a solution to the disease.
In 2016 she went to Ispat General Hospital for medicines where she met with another AIDS patient. Both decided to marry and live a new life. Now both are living a new life and are blessed with a son. Anita got a house under Mo Kudia Yojana and gets Rs 300 from Madhubabu pension yojana. PNN
