Anurag hits century for Cuttack-A

Cuttack, Feb 4: Riding on a brilliant unbeaten century by Anurag Kanojia (126), Cuttack-A piled on 306 runs on the first day of the three-day final against Bhubaneswar-A in the U-16 Sumit Bose Trophy cricket tournament at the Ravenshaw University Ground-1 here Wednesday.

Earlier, Bhubaneswar-A won the toss put the opposition in. However, some of the Cuttack-A batsmen got starts but failed to convert those into substantial scores and they lost wickets at regular intervals. Anurag’s ton took them past the 300-run mark. Md Sahil Raja (47) and Akash Nayak (41) chipped in with useful contributions.
