Boinda: Athamallik MLA Ramesh Chandra Sai visited Maoist-affected Laxmipur village Friday and interacted with villagers about their problems. Sai covered the distance on a rough terrain. Village secretary Prabhakar Sahoo on the behalf of villagers had given a memorandum to the MLA mentioning various problems including lack of healthcare, education and drinking water that the villagers have been facing for years. The villagers said they have been complaining in this regard at the Block Office and Panchayat Office but in vain. They urged MLA Sai to provide basic facilities to them.
