Bahalda: Jharkhand Governor Droupadi Murmu flagged off the much awaited DMU train on the Badampahad-Tatanagar route at Tatanagar railway station Saturday.
Thousands of curious people had been waiting at the Bahalda Road station, the entry point of Odisha, to see the arrival of the new train at 4.40 pm.
Men and women waiting there welcomed the train. After halting for a few minutes, the train moved to Badampahad and reached there at 7.05 pm. From there, the train will leave for Tatanagar at 7.20 pm and reach there at 10.15 pm.
Various quarters have welcomed the train service.
