BHUBANESWAR: Lisa Rani Ray, a Canadian actress, model, television host, philanthropist and social activist, was in the city for the launch of Rado’s festive collection. In a brief media interaction, she threw some light on her personal life and business ventures.
Stating the reason for her choosing Rado, she said, “I think we choose each other 10 years ago. RADO is always innovative in its design. The raw material used in the manufacturing is unique and long lasting.”
According to her, the importance of watches cannot be overstated even though knowing time is made easy by smart phones these days. She said, “Wearing a fashionable watch is more than a fashion statement. It adds to your personality and charm in marriages and official events.”
Ray is going through a tumultuous phase in his personal life as she is battling cancer. On being enquired, “I sincerely believe that it becomes a lot easier if we share problems of such magnitude with our relatives. Visiting cancer camps has surely boosted me in this fight. I am still under medication.
On being enquired about her next project, she said, “I have completed my work in AR Rehman’s film which is scheduled to be released next year. It is a beautiful project.”
“When you reach your true potential, it makes you invest more in life as you you don’t take anything for granted. This will make sure that you remain calm even in tensed situations. My twin babies have brought a lot of joy in my life. They are the ultimate source of my life.”
