Bhubaneswar: A minor girl was allegedly abducted from the Infocity police station area in Bhubaneswar and taken to Jajpur, where she was allegedly raped. In connection with the incident, Infocity police have arrested the accused.
The accused has been identified as Niranjan Mallick of Brahmabarada.

According to reports, the accused allegedly kidnapped the minor from Bhubaneswar and took her to Jajpur. Following the incident, the girl’s family lodged a complaint at Infocity police station.
Acting on the complaint, police launched an investigation and rescued the minor. The accused was later traced and arrested. Further investigation into the case is underway. Police are continuing the probe based on the minor’s statement and other evidence.
