BHUBANESWAR: Biju janata Dal (BJD) President Naveen Patnaik today suspended rebel leader Sesha Kumar Meher from the party citing anti-party activities.
According to reports, Meher is contesting the Assembly poll from Kantamal Assembly seat as an independent candidate after he was denied a BJD ticket.
This constituency comes under Boudh district and Kandhamal Lok Sabha seat. It will go to polls on April 18. (PNN)
