Dhenkanal: The decomposed body of a woman tied to a bridge was spotted Saturday morning under mysterious circumstances by some local villagers at Kamakshyanagar in Dhenkanal.
According to a local man, the body was found near Bhejia village under Parjang police limits in the district. Identity of the woman has not been ascertained yet, he added.
After the local residents noticed the woman’s body under a bridge on NH-149, they immediately informed the police about it.

Parjang police rushed to the spot and recovered the body. Later, it was sent to a nearby hospital for post-mortem.
Police have registered a case in this connection and a probe is underway, a senior official informed.
