Mumbai: With an additional 7.20 crores pouring in Saturday, Sara Ali Khan and Vicky Kaushal starrer Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’s Box Office collections have increased from its Friday total of 5.49 crores. This is once again a very good number for the movie because, with the exception of one or two, mid-budget films haven’t been doing well financially since the pandemic.
Although a double-digit score would be ideal, development like this further lays the framework for Sunday to see an increase in numbers. For now, the movie should settle at least today around 8.50–9 crores.
The ‘Buy-One-Get-One-Free deal’ that is now running for the movie is being ‘fully’ credited by a specific segment of the trade for Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’s respectable box office performance. That’s an incorrect assumption to make considering that numerous projects have received various offers over the past 6 to 9 months.
There were occasionally discounted ticket prices and even flat-rate tickets of Rs. 100. It would occasionally be a different deal for weekday tickets or a “cinema day” deal. However, save Pathaan and Brahmastra, it hardly ever worked for any films. However, despite offers, there just wasn’t any momentum built for future films. Zara Hatke Zara Bachke might have had the same outcome, but the offer ended up benefiting the movie.
Time to see where the movie goes from here is now. The movie has thus far made 12.69 crores, and a weekend take of 21 to 22 crores is predicted. The picture would have a free run until the release of Adipurush on June 16.
