Soro: Unidentified burglars Wednesday night looted an Axis Bank ATM kiosk located at Turigadia Bazar near Khaira.
The looted amount was yet to be ascertained, sources said.
Some customers who reached the counter for transaction Thursday morning noticed that the door of the kiosk was open.
They immediately informed the bank authorities and later it was confirmed that the kiosk had been burgled.
After the preliminary investigation, Khaira police were of the view that the loot could have taken place late in the night.
The bank authorities were yet to ascertain the exact amount that was looted. They said the kiosk was closed for the last two to three days.
Notably, in a similar incident May 4, Bolero-borne burglars had decamped with Rs 36 lakh from at least two ATMs in separate incidents in the district.
