Bhubaneswar: A private bus owner was seriously injured after he was shot at by some unidentified miscreants at Baramunda bus stand in Bhubaneswar late Sunday night.
The victim was identified as Pritam Jena Mani.
Pritam, who sustained bullet injuries on his right shoulder and abdomen, was admitted to a private hospital here.
According to reports, four assailants came in a Mahindra Bolero SUV and opened fire at Pritam.
They soon fled the spot after committing the crime.
The firing incident was the fallout of a dispute over a tender, sources said.
The Khandagiri police have started an investigation into the incident.
