Puri: Three unidentified miscreants looted Rs 1, 10, 000 from two women employee of a private bank Wednesday after attacking them with sharp weapons in between Benipur and Gop.
The victims were identified as Sonali Behera and Rojalin Rout.
According to reports, both had gone to Benipur to collect loan amount availed by some of their bank customers in the village.
While returning on a two-wheeler to Gop with the cash, miscreants attacked them with sharp weapons.
Sonali sustained minor injuries on her right hand, but she was discharged after preliminary treat at Nimapada hospital. Both of them have lodged an FIR with the local police.
The police have registered a case and investigating into the matter.
