Balasore: Tension prevailed at Aairi Square in Balasore district after residents of Tentei village staged a road blockade demanding a CBI probe into the death of two Class X girl students.
Priyanka Das and Laxmipriya Das, students of Tentei High School, were found dead under mysterious circumstances at the latter’s house in the village August 11.
Though the exact reason of the death was not known, police suspected that the girls might have committed suicide by consuming poison.
According to reports, Priyanka had stayed back at Laxmipriya’s home August 10 night after tuition. When they didn’t attend the school the next day, Laxmipriya’s family enquired about it and later found them dead.
