Bahanaga: CBI sleuths Monday sealed the Soro residence of the signal engineer of Bahanaga Bazar and Soro stations in Balasore district after failing to nab him even after nineteen days of the triple train mishap at Bahanaga Bazar station. The signal engineer identified as Amir Khan of Bahanaga Bazar and Soro stations has been absconding with his family members after the horrific train accident occurred, June 2.
Khan had been staying at the house of Bhagirathi Sandhibigraha on rent at Kamarpur in Soro area. Earlier, the CBI had sealed the Bahanaga Bazar railway station and picked up two officials including the station manager for interrogation. The sealing of the house of the signal engineer assumes significance as it came on the eve of Union Railways Minister Aswini Vaishnaw’s visit to the Bahanaga Bazar railway station scheduled for Tuesday
