Bhubaneswar: The state tourism department is considering a change in the timings of the famous light and sound show at Dhauli.
The department has been considering implementation of the new timings from the first week of December as it is becoming dark earlier these days. Discussions in this regard are going on with stakeholders and officials of the department are expected to take a final decision soon.
The department is likely to announce the new timings in the next few days.
At present, the last show starts at 7:45 pm and ends at 8:20 pm. This is particularly a problem for the visitors as the large stretch of the approach road remains pitch dark because of the absence of streetlights.
