Bhubaneswar: Police and child line officials rescued an eight-year-old girl from the house of a child protection officer at the railway station here Sunday night.
The officer has been identified as Anuradha Nayak, who has been working at Angul Child protection Unit.
The girl, who was allegedly forced to work at Anuradha’s house, had been engaged in cleaning the house of the officer, looking after her baby and massage the legs of her husband at night.
The minor girl has been employed by the officer for several months, according to reports.
