Bhubaneswar/Bhawanipatna: BJD supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik visited Tuesday the shrine of Maa Manikeswari and sought her blessings before launching his campaign in Kalahandi.
Patnaik, after paying obeisance told the gathering that the BJD will once more do well as it has the support of the common people. “We will register a good show this time as well,” Patnaik told the gathering. “In the upcoming days a lot of development projects will be undertaken in the district,” he assured the people.
The CM took part in a road show from the temple to the helipad. Kalahandi Lok Sabha candidate Pushpendra Singhdeo, MLA candidate Dushmant Nayak and leader of the women’s cell in the district, Shreemayee Mishra was present with the CM.
Later, Patnaik campaigned at Lanjigarh and Narla in Kalahandi constituency.
