Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik Saturday sanctioned Rs 30.72 crore for over 1,200 projects in 138 gram panchayats (GPs) in four more blocks under ‘Ama Gaon Ama Bikash’ programme.
These blocks are Sohela in Bargarh, Nischintakoili in Cuttack, Dharmasala in Jajpur and Soroda in Ganjam.
The CM approved Rs 6.5 crore for 271 projects in 27 GPs under Sohela Block, Rs 8.75 crore for execution of 444 projects in 41 GPs under Nischintakoili block, Rs 9.22 crore for execution of 304 projects in 45 GPs under Dharmasala block and Rs 6.25 crore for undertaking 195 projects in 25 GPs under Soroda Block.
Patnaik interacted with
public representatives of
these blocks and panchayats and asked them to ensure timely implementation of
the projects.
