The Chief Minister also inaugurated a new academic block and a workshop on the premises of the Bhubanananda Orissa School of Engineering here. Skill development and technical education minister Sanjay Kumar Das Burma was present on the occasion.
Ravenshaw completes evaluation in 3 weeks
Cuttack: Ravenshaw university vice-chancellor Prakash Kumar Sarangi has indicated that by adopting innovative methods the University could publish semester results within three weeks. Earlier, results used to be delayed because the answers scripts were sent by post to evaluators at far-off places. The introduction of central evaluation system on the university campus has made things faster and easier, official sources said. The semester examinations of various departments were conducted in December and completed by first week of January. Accordingly, the results were out within 20 days. Now, the semester results posted on University website can be downloaded by students. All exam papers will hereafter be scanned and posted on the website. Even the data of students can be found on the website, Sarangi told newspersons. PNN
