Nimapara: A Plus II girl student of Banishree junior college at Khelar in Puri district was allegedly abducted by two youths Thursday.
The 17-year-old girl hailing from Dhanuan gram panchayat was on her way home from college on her bicycle when she was abducted by the bike-borne youths near Mathasahi. The victim’s mother, in her complaint lodged with the local police, has named Dibakar Swain of Mangla Basti at Suryanagar of Unit 7 in Bhubaneswar and his associate as the accused. The police registered a case and started an investigation.
The complainant also said that Dibakar had abducted her daughter a year ago when they were residing at Mangala Basti. The Capital police had arrested the accused and rescued the girl after the girl’s parents lodged a complaint with.
“The accused used to harass my daughter. Fed up with repeated harassments, we came back to our native place. However, the accused again abducted my daughter to settle score,” the victim’s mother stated in her complaint.
