Remuna: A girl student of FM (Autonomous) College was crushed under the wheels of a truck near Sergarh overbridge under Khantapada police limits in Balasore district, Tuesday evening. The deceased was identified as Jayashree Barik, a Commerce student of the college and a native of Bardhanpur under Sadar police limits of the district. She was on her way home on a bike with one of her relatives when a truck coming from Andhra Pradesh hit the bike from the rear. Jayashree was flung to the right and crushed under the wheels of the truck. Locals rushed the injured biker to the hospital. Police seized the truck and detained the driver.
