Believe it or not, divorcees who have gone through a difficult break-up can empathise with younger people from market in Japan for their services at a price.
Nowadays, a site has been launched for this where around 10,000 men apply every month.
According to reports, the website now hosts nearly 80 “uncles” in 36 cities in Japan, including Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and Tokushima.
The site also offers other services like,
- Sleep in his arms
- Go out for a date (all costs must be borne by the client)
- Have him clean for you (Simple cleaning tasks like vacuuming, etc., so long as it’s nothing discomforting)
- Eat together at a restaurant (all costs must be borne by the client)
- Have him cook for you (ingredients must be prepared by the client)
However, one positive effect is the societal value of middle-aged men can be raised through this.
