Keonjhar: Two persons allegedly stormed into the house of a tribal couple and attempted to rape the wife late Tuesday night at Dandasena village under Pandapada police limits in Keonjhar district.
The couple was admitted to the district headquarters hospital. Police started an investigation following an FIR. According to the complaint, two persons of the village – Abhi and Biju – entered the house while the couple was having dinner.
They dragged the man out of the house and attacked him. Later, they tried to rape the woman. SDPO Sriharsa Mishra said the woman was attacked when she tried to save her husband.
