Deepika Padukone who will essay the role of an acid attack survivor in Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak, has begun shooting for the film in Delhi. On Wednesday, Deepika was mobbed by fans as she was shooting for a scene near Janpath in the capital.
Clad in a yellow kurta and blue denims, Deepika was spotted shooting for Chhapaak at a store in Delhi. Soon pictures and videos of Deepika filming in the capital made their way to social media. A large crowd was seen waiting to catch a glimpse of the actress.
The Chhappak team has been shooting in the city for a week now. The film is based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal.
