Mumbai: Queen actress Kangana Ranaut has been all over the media after she gave a fiery interview to a news portal targeting B-Town biggies and actresses like Swara Bhasker and Taapsee Pannu over nepotism.

While she has garnered immense support from her fans on social media, others have pulled her up for her hypocrisy. Netizens have taken it to social media to question Kangana Ranaut on why she removed actor Sonu Sood from her period film, ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’.

#KanganaRanaut didn’t talk about how badly she treated #SonuSood and Manikarnika’s real director Krish, how she threw them out of the movie & stole the direction credit from Krish. & Stop targeting #Taapsee , she is as much outsider as u & successful on her own.

Earlier in many interviews, Kangana had claimed that Sonu Sood was not happy about the fact that he was working under a female director. She even claimed that the actor was trying to malign the film’s image as he was no longer the part of it.

Why is #Kangana so agitated. Khud pe aati hai toh she becomes someone else. Forgot @sonusood? She removed her from Manikarnika and also insulted the director. This video is the proof. #SonuSood #TaapseePannu @Taapsee pic.twitter.com/7X0C9446gR

While, Sonu Sood, on the other hand, told a news portal that he never had any qualms working under a female director because he has already done a movie with a female director Farah Khan – ‘Happy New Year’. He added that he only said that he cannot be working with two directors on one set.

It was later revealed that Manikarnika was actually directed by Telugu director Krrish. However, Kangana used to interfere in his works which created differences following which Krrish opted out of the movie.

Krrish had directed almost 70% of the movie and Kangana took over the remaining 30%, sources said. This has not gone well with Sonu Sood fans who called her out for her hypocrisy. While Kangana is blaming others, she herself is playing the victim and women’s card, some fans commented.
