Konark: The picturesque beachfront at Sahukhanata along the Konark-Puri Marine Drive is set to come alive with the Eco Retreat Festival from December 13, with the district administration initiating preparations to ensure a memorable experience for visitors.
With the festival expected to attract tourists, officials have begun assessing the proposed site and identifying infrastructure requirements.
Puri Additional District Magistrate (Protocol) Nilamadhab Bhoi visited the location Tuesday afternoon and reviewed the surrounding conditions and arrangements for the event.
The administration is planning to make this year’s festival equally attractive and picturesque as its previous edition, with special emphasis on visitor amenities and the development of necessary infrastructure.
Bhoi said steps would soon be taken to initiate infrastructure development at the proposed venue.
