Nuapada: An elderly man was seriously injured after he was attacked by a swarm of honeybees at Bharuamunda village in Sinapali area Monday morning. The victim was Ishwar Majhi.
Ishwar was on his way to attend a nature’s call near a pond. A swarm of bees came out of their comb on a nearby tree and attacked him. The victim fell down and broke his left leg in a bid to run away.
Locals rushed the man to the Sinapali community health centre (CHC), where his condition was stated to be critical.
